Watch high-pressure hydro jetting in action as we blast through a heavily blocked commercial kitchen drain. See the before and after CCTV footage showing how water jetting at 5,000 PSI clears grease, debris, and years of build-up.
We're at a commercial kitchen that's been having recurring drain blockages. Grease and food waste have built up over years and conventional drain snaking hasn't been enough to fix it long term. We've already done a CCTV inspection and you can see the pipe is almost completely blocked with hardened grease — maybe 80 percent blockage here. Now we're going to use our hydro jetter. This machine delivers water at up to 5,000 PSI through a specialised rotating nozzle. The nozzle has forward-facing jets to cut through the blockage and rear-facing jets that propel it forward and scour the pipe walls clean. Here it goes — you can hear the pressure building. The nozzle is making its way through the grease. Watch the CCTV monitor — you can see the blockage breaking apart in real time. We'll make several passes to ensure the pipe is thoroughly cleaned. And here's the after shot on the CCTV camera. The pipe walls are clean, full bore is restored. The difference is dramatic. For commercial kitchens, we recommend hydro jetting every 12 to 18 months as preventive maintenance.
